Post Malone, Noah Kahan and Shaboozey will headline a star-studded lineup for the 50th edition of Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks special, NBC and Macy’s announced Wednesday. Blake Shelton, Bebe Rexha and hip-hop pioneers Salt-N-Pepa are also scheduled to perform during the annual Independence Day broadcast, which coincides with the nation’s 250th birthday celebration.

The two-hour event will air live July 4 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. EDT on NBC and stream on Peacock, with a Spanish-language simulcast on Telemundo. Organizers said this year’s milestone edition will feature an expanded presentation across New York City, incorporating the Brooklyn Bridge, the lower East River and portions of the Hudson River in partnership with Jersey City.

The Macy’s fireworks show, first held in 1976, remains one of the largest Independence Day celebrations in the United States and annually draws millions of viewers nationwide. Macy’s said more than 85,000 shells in 30 colors will light the skyline during the display, which will also introduce new visual effects and a laser presentation projected from the Brooklyn Bridge. “The Voice” season 29 winner Alexia Jayy is set to provide a vocal performance accompanying the fireworks spectacle.

Executive producer Will Coss said the anniversary event is designed to bring audiences together with an enhanced production and major musical acts:  Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks’ delivers the largest Independence Day celebration in the nation through a show-stopping spectacle that reminds us of the power of connection and shared experience. We’re proud to honor our 50th Fireworks with an expanded show, never-before-seen effects and music’s biggest stars for a truly unforgettable celebration.”

The 2026 special follows last year’s telecast featuring the Jonas Brothers, Eric Church, Lenny Kravitz and Trisha Yearwood. Organizers said additional details surrounding the 50th anniversary festivities will be announced ahead of the July 4 broadcast.
